Meet Novel, one of the sweetest girls around! She is about 2 years old and looks to be a Lab mix with a few other breeds. She is a medium size around 35 lbs. Novel came to Labs and More with her five puppies, but now the pups are around 2 months old and Novel is done with parenthood and ready to just be a dog! She is a shy and cautious girl and likes to take her time assessing new environments. She would love a confident yet gentle dog sibling to help her learn and grow. She gets along with dogs of all sizes, and even cats and rabbits! She has no problems meeting new humans and would likely do well with older/calmer children. She is currently fostered with one other dog and gaining confidence every day. She is already great on a leash and even leads the way on walks ahead of her foster brother.

Novel loves pets and belly rubs. She will stick her face in your lap or plop down at your feet with her belly up to let you know she wants some love. But don’t worry, she’ll give you plenty of kisses afterward to thank you!

Due to a prior medical condition Novel can sometimes be a little clumsy on her feet but she has no problems with stairs and can still climb onto the sofa and bed to get her snuggles in. She is working on crate training though may not really need it as she is fully house trained and fairly low energy and less likely to cause mischief when left alone.

If you are interested in meeting Novel, please submit an adoption application on our website. If you are already approved with a coach or have adopted from us before, please reach out to your coach for the next steps.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
