Dainty is a darling young gal! She is about 1 year old and is a Hound mix. Dainty came to Labs and More pregnant and has spent the last several weeks taking care of her puppies in a loving foster home. Now her pups are close to 2 months in age and Dainty is ready to move on from parenthood permanently. She takes a little time to warm up around new people and situations but once she is comfortable, she loves to be chased, play with tug ropes and chew toys (happily showing those toys who's boss), snuggle with you and get belly rubs. She is very gentle with small children. This sweetie enjoys walks but is also happy to hang around chilling with you. Dainty would prefer to sleep on a bed with you than in her crate. Her fosters are working on crate training with her, enticing her with treats. Dainty loves all treats, bully sticks and antlers and takes food gently. She is house trained in her current foster home and walks well on leash. Dainty gets along with other dogs and would do best with a confident dog sibling at her side to help her settle in, play with and learn how to be a happy, confident dog. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Dainty, then fill out an adoption application on our website today! Please note that processing time for applications is currently three to four weeks. We recommend completing the application process and connecting with a adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps.

Your interest in adopting a recued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported, solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing.
