Giovanna's her name and tennis balls are her game! This brown and white cow spotted pup is around 4 years old and we think she could be a Pointer mix, possibly with Lab. She's a stocky girl around 40 lbs. She is house trained in her current foster home and quiet and well mannered in her crate. She is working on her manners including not jumping. She loves children, but may knock little ones over and would do best in a home with children that don't mind when dogs get extra excited around them. Giovanna is fostered with three other dogs and plays with them a little bit but always choose playtime with her person over them. She would be fine with or without other dogs in her forever home. She thinks kitties are for chasing so will need a home with no cats in it. She is cautious around men but warms up with time and patience. She does bark at strangers and will alert you when people are at the door, but is otherwise quiet inside.

Giovanna loves to give kisses and stick as close to her person as possible. She is very snuggly and she is her foster mom's shadow. She is working on getting used to a leash and going for walks, trotting happily in your side. She loves to run around the backyard and would be happiest with a yard in her forever home. She has medium energy so would do best in an active home that can channel that energy appropriately mentally and physically. She loves long walks and would be a great hiking companion. She enjoys visits to the dog beach and will follow you into the water! She also loves to play and thinks fetch is the best game. Her tennis ball is her favorite thing besides her people. She also has discovered a love of squeaky stuffed toys. She is smart and would love puzzles, thinking toys and learning more basic commands to show off.
