Say Hello to Gospel! This gorgeous girl is a Pit Bull Terrier mix and is around 2 years old. She may not have had the easiest time in life so far, but you would never know it with her super-sweet personality. Gospel is a very calm and easy-going girl with a gentle demeanor. She is friendly with all she meets, including other dogs and children. We think this little lady would do fine in a home with or without other dogs. She seems to like having them around and will seek out their company, but doesn't seem interested in interacting with them beyond that. Gospel has great house manners and uses the doggy door to take herself outside to go potty. Although this girl is on the lower energy side and extremely quiet most of the time, she gets very excited and "talkative" (happy whines, cries, and howls) when it is time for a walk or you give her a ball or toy to play with. This girl is going to need toys of the indestructible variety since she can de-stuff/de-stroy a plush toy in 10 seconds flat. Gospel is working on her basic commands in her foster home and is food and attention motivated. She is a sensitive girl who immediately responds to being scolded so it is very easy to discourage her from any unwanted behavior. Gospel does have some impaired vision due to a corneal issue, but she navigates around just fine and it doesn't slow her down in the least. If you are interested in meeting this very special girl and giving her a second chance at a happily ever after, please submit an adoption application on our website. If you have adopted from us before or are already approved with an adoption coach, please reach out to your coach for the next steps.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
