Belgium is just about as sweet as can be! She is a little Terrier mix close to 25 lbs. She came to Labs and More with her 8 puppies. After being the best little mama to her pups, she is finished with motherhood and ready for a home of her own. Now that she's done with her puppies, this little mama is letting her inner puppy out! Belgium is very sweet and gets along with everyone she meets - people, dogs and cats. She does seem to do better with small to medium dogs and avoids larger dogs when she can. Like many Terriers, she does nip at your heels and during playtime, something she is working on correcting in her foster home, but she may not be the best choice for families with small children at this time. She loves kids and does well with older children. She revels in attention and sitting with you on your lap. She will need a family that lets her up on the furniture because she enjoys cuddling on the couch with you. She sleeps on the couch in her foster home through the night but would love to sleep in bed with you instead. One bonus about this girl is she doesn't shed! She is house trained in her current foster home.

Belgium is food motivated and is sneaky enough to try to swipe food off countertops. She comes when called, knows what "no" means, and has good leash manners. She loves her walks and has medium energy with the occasional burst of high energy zoomies. She would benefit from a home with a yard where she can play fetch, run around to her heart's content, and maybe dig a few holes. She wouldn't mind being your next running buddy for short jogs. This little girl wants to be wherever her people are. She would prefer a home where her humans are home more often than not and work from home. Belgium is an easygoing, always tail wagging, happy little pup that will make a great family dog. If you are interested in meeting Belgium or any of our dogs or puppies, please submit an adoption application on our website. If you have adopted from us before or are already approved with an adoption coach, please reach out to your coach for the next steps.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
