Sake is going to bring some spark to your life! Get ready to get in shape with this girl by your side because she will keep you on your toes. Sake is around 5 months old and is a black Collie mix. She is energetic, silly and loving! Sake is athletic and nimble, always ready to take on her next big adventure. This girl is not afraid of anything so far in her foster home and charges full speed ahead. She is looking for a very active family (as in takes her to the dog park, on hikes, does agility work, or plays brain games at least twice a day). She needs someone who is ready and willing to help her work out her body and mind every single day. She would love a home with a yard where she can zoom around to her heart's content, but would be okay in a condo setting if given LOTS of exercise.

This bouncy girl is house trained with a dog door in her foster home and sleeps quietly in her crate at night and when you leave the house. She is treat motivated and quickly mastered sit & down. She is working on stay, come, over and under. She can be easily distracted and is still learning her manners, but is making great progress with her foster family. This is one smart pup. She likes to be all in your face and is still learning to keep all four feet on the ground when meeting new people. Because of her bounciness, tendency to herd true to her Collie breed, and desire to lovingly launch herself at her people, Sake may not be the best dog in a home with small children or people with balance issues. She also has a high prey drive and needs a home without cats. Families should expect to dedicate time to training her every single day. She gets along with other dogs but is more people oriented and can sometimes annoy older dogs with her rambunctious, bossy attitude. While not especially cuddly, Sake loves people and being social. She always wants to be underfoot and close. If you think Sake sounds like the perfect match for your family, please submit an adoption application on our website. If you have applied already and been approved with a coach or if you have adopted from us before, please reach out to your coach for the next steps.
