Sweet Talcum is a 40 lb lap dog! She is around 2 years old and likely a mix of a few different breeds but may have some Lab and Terrier in her. She is always happy and very affectionate with people. Talcum has been fostered with a few other dogs, big and small, and got along with all of them. When she sees other dogs on walks, she tends to get a little over excited mainly because she wants to play! She is also currently fostered with a couple of kitties and while she barks at them through the baby gate, she's polite and respectful of them when they are right in front of her. Talcum is house trained in her current foster home and sleeps quietly on her dog bed through the night. While she loves lap snuggles, she is also quite content to go take a snooze on her own on her dog bed. Talcum loves to play and rip apart her toys. She is working on not being mouthy in playtime and is quickly picking up her basic commands, especially when chicken is involved. She has done well around the kids (6 and 7 years old) that she has been around. She recently had surgery for an old leg injury and is the newest member of the tri-pawed club. She gets along just fine without her leg and will be available for adoption mid-February. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting mama Talcum when she is ready, then fill out an adoption application on our website today! We recommend completing the application process and connecting with a adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps.

Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog.
