Sweet Sosy has the prettiest brindle markings! This 2 year old possibly Cattle Dog and Terrier mix is not quite 30 lbs - the perfect size for playtime and cuddles! She has a very Cattle Dog energy and personality. She loves to zoom around the yard then rocket launch into her foster mom's arms and give her as many kisses as she can. Typical to her breed mix, while Sosy can be a little nervous in new situations with new people, once she knows you, you have a friend for life. She seems to like women better than men but warmed up to her foster dad with time, patience and a little dedication and enjoys getting affection from him. Like many Cattle Dogs, she has a strong sense of stranger danger so sticks close to her people. She would do better in a home that doesn't have lots of visitors coming in and out but also with a patient, already dog-savvy family that can continue working on her socialization and interaction with people. Children running around and playing make Sosy nervous and, like many Cattle Dogs, she can get nippy when over excited so she will need a home with no kids or only dog savvy kids over 12 years old. Sosy gets along very well with other dogs, loves to chase and play with them, but she doesn't need another dog in her forever home to be happy as long as she gets enough exercise. She thinks kitties are for playfully chasing after so will need a home with no cats.

True to her Cattle Dog nature, Sosy is both very smart and has a good amount of energy. She is fast and agile and would make a great agility dog. She loves training exercises and her foster mom finds different ways to work out her mind and body every day. She is a fun dog to train as she picks up training quickly and is eager to please. She knows Sit, Down, Come and Touch and is working on her Wait and Stay commands. She loves to show off her smarts to her foster mom and is motivated by both food and pleasing her people. Sosy goes for a 2.5 mile run or several walks plus playtime, puzzles, and mental exercises with her foster family every day. Because of her tendency to bark at unfamiliar noises and her bursts of zoomies, Sosy would be happiest with a yard of her own in her forever home. She enjoys playing with toys and loves tug of war. She is still mastering her leash manners but is house trained in her current foster home and settles down well in her crate.
