Meet Gilmore! He is around 3 years old and we think he is a petite Collie and Cocker Spaniel mix. Gilmore came to Labs and More in rough shape and is currently recovering from surgery on his back leg and hip. He won't be available for adoption until April. Gilmore is an equal opportunity lover who enjoys getting and giving affection to both men and women. He is friendly with all the dogs he is fostered with and seems unbothered by cats. He is crate trained and goes into his kennel with encouragement. He is still working on house training and his leash skills are shaping up nicely. He does like to jump up on people to say hello and he will bark at strangers at the door like a good little watchdog. He can be a little sensitive at times and likes his space to come to you on his terms so would do best in a home without any children. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Gilmore when he is ready, then fill out an adoption application on our website today! If you are a previous Labs and More adopter or have already been approved and assigned an adoption coach, please reach out to your adoption coach for the next steps.

Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing.
