Darla is just darling! She is around 2 years old and is likely a mix of many breeds, but we think she probably has Terrier and Whippet in her. She is petite at only about 30 lbs. Darla came to Labs and More with her 9 puppies who have since been adopted, as well as an eye injury. Darla happily put parenthood behind her in a loving foster home where she recovered from her eye removal and showed that having just one eye wouldn’t slow her down! Darla is a wonderful dog and quite the social butterfly! She does well meeting new people and other dogs, big and small, and enjoys frequent outings with her foster mom to parks, beaches and walking trails. She is great with dog savvy children who are gentle with her in return. She loves going for strolls on the beach and has good leash manners. Darla is smart and eager to please. She is housetrained in her current foster home and quiet and well mannered in her crate but can be left uncrated home alone for up to 3 hours.

Darla is an active girl with bursts of zoomies. She isn't a long distance runner - fast paced sprints are her sport of choice. She would love an active family that can take her on daily walks, play with her, and continue to work on her training. She is gentle when taking treats, has good manners, and aims to please. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Darla, then fill out an adoption application on our website today! We recommend completing the application process and connecting with a adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps.

Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing.
