Are you seeing spots? Fall in love with Colt! He's about 1 year old and we think he is a petite German Shorthaired Pointer mix. You won't find a sweeter, more cuddly boy than Colt! He likes to be pet, held, and snuggled. He is submissive to other dogs and would do best with easygoing, semi-playful dogs. He loves to play and can run very fast! Colt sleeps in his crate at night and is working on becoming more comfortable with it during the day. He is housetrained in his current foster home and walks well on leash. He knows "sit" and is working on his recall. He is very treat motivated.

Colt loves car rides and trips to the dog park. He enjoys chewing on almost anything but pig ears are his absolute favorite and has started to play with dog toys in his foster home. He would do best in a home with a yard for him to zoom around in and explore. He can be uncomfortable around strangers and can be slow to trust, but once he meets them on his level and sees they are friend and not foe, he warms up fast. He is still working on his confidence and becoming more comfortable with the big, wide world so he is looking for a patient family that can continue the training and socialization his current foster family has put in with him. You won't be disappointed! If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Colt, then fill out an adoption application on our website today! We recommend completing the application process and connecting with a adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps.

Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing.
