Hansel is well on his way to becoming Handsome! He looks to be a Lab mix and about 3 to 4 months old. He came in without a mom or dad so we aren't quite sure of what his breed mix is or how big he will get, but currently he is on track to be a large dog. Initially timid in his foster home, this boy has come a long way and now is comfortable and mellow. He meets new people well and is wonderful with the 9- and 12- year old children in his foster home. He leaves the kitty in his foster home alone. Hansel is a champion cuddler and is often found curled up with his human children siblings' stuffed animals. He is curious and playful, is learning fetch, and loves to lounge in the sun with a dog toy. He is doing well with housetraining and sleeps through the night in a crate in his foster parents' bedroom.

Hansel is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting a puppy, then fill out an adoption application on our website today! We recommend completing the application process and connecting with a adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps.

Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing.
