Who wouldn't want this boy as part of their family?! Atwood was not happy in a kennel and cried and howled until you would come out and give him a hug. He is now thriving in a loving foster home where he is getting the love, attention and all the treats he deserves. Atwood is nearing his senior years but don't let that stop you from meeting this funny boy with a crooked smile. Without the underbite, he looks totally like a yellow Labrador. He is a bigger boy at about 85lbs but is easy to manage.

Atwood is a dream foster; he is laid back, kind, gentle and thankful to just hang out while you work or go about life. He likes to sit next to you on the sofa, by your feet, or he will find a soft dog bed to curl up in for a nap. He is house trained and does fine uncrated when you leave. He is easy to introduce to other dogs and has been like one of the family since he arrived. Going on short walks is a fun part of his day as he loves to sniff his way around the neighborhood. He rides great in the car and will jump right in and settle down nicely. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Atwood, then fill out an adoption application on our website today! We recommend completing the application process and connecting with a adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing.
