Beautiful mama Cedar came to Labs and More pregnant and delivered ELEVEN puppies in a loving foster home! Her puppies have all since been adopted but mama Cedar is patiently waiting for her own forever home. She is around 2 years old and is a yellow Lab mix. She is a happy, friendly and affectionate girl who bonds closely to her people and loves to spend time lounging on the couch next to them. She is fostered with several other dogs and is submissive and playful to all of them. She does lack a little bit of confidence when meeting new dogs and seems to prefer dogs her size or smaller; her best dog friend in her foster home is 20 lbs and they play very well together. Cats, on the other hand, are a totally different story. Cedar has a high drive to chase after critters and will need a forever home without cats or small animals. She is good with dog savvy children, housetrained in her current foster home, and sleeps in a crate at night. She walks pretty well on leash and enjoys car rides. Her ideal home would be with a quieter, patient family that can continue to work on her confidence and perhaps with a small to medium sized dog sibling to play with. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Cedar, then fill out an adoption application on our website today! We recommend completing the application process and connecting with a adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps.

Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing.
