Buddy Bear is a life size giant teddy bear! He is about 6 years old but acts much younger and looks to be a Lab and Saint Bernard mix. At close to 85 lbs, he is a big, happy boy who gets along with everyone he meets. He is very friendly, playful, and affectionate. He loves other dogs and loves to play at the dog park. We think he'd love a playful dog sibling that can handle his size. Buddy Bear is happiest rolling around in the grass outside, playing with other dogs, and running around the yard so he needs a backyard of his own where he can run and play to his heart's content. He mellows out inside once he gets his energy out, has good house manners and is housetrained in his foster home. He knows several commands including Sit, Down, Stay, Come and Bed. He is looking for a family that can give him a routine and boundaries as well as an active family that he can go on lots of adventures with and be involved in their day to day lives. He would do best with a family where someone is home more often than not; he'd be a great work from home companion. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Buddy Bear, then fill out an adoption application on our website today! We recommend completing the application process and connecting with a adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps.

Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog.
