Texas will lasso your heart from the moment you meet this sweet, sweet girl. She is around 1.5 years old and we believe she is a mix of Australian Shepherd, Cattle Dog and Border Collie. She delivered 9 adorable puppies under our care and is ready to put motherhood behind her. She is friendly and affectionate and loves meeting people. She gets along well with the dogs in her foster home but doesn’t necessarily need dog siblings in her future home to be happy. Despite her breed mix she is a mellow and mild mannered girl and doesn’t need a lot of exercise and is satisfied with a few short walks per day. She is well behaved in the home and can be left home alone uncrated. She walks calmly on leash, is not a big barker, and is house trained. Texas is being treated for a reversible medical condition and will not be ready for adoption until closer to late March.
If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Texas, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps.
Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing.
