Labs and More Event
Every year, countless dogs—pregnant mothers, abandoned puppies, and those with severe medical conditions—are left to fend for themselves. We refuse to turn away.
In 2025, we will save our 16,000th dog, with so many more to help!
Bark in the Barn runs from May 1 to May 12 at 8pm and is our Annual Virtual Fundraising Event, an online auction and Fund-A-Need event that will help us bring them home.
For 13 years, you have been their heroes—can we count on you in 2025?

Timeshares or vacation rentals can generate vital resources to rescue more dogs.
Wine tastings, spa days, private chef experiences—your generosity brings hope to countless dogs.
Online certificates or business vouchers help provide shelter for rescued dogs.

Every dollar helps provide food, medical care, and shelter for dogs in need.
Who We Are
We are just like you, someone who cares enough to make a difference by getting involved. We are a grassroots, non-profit, 100% volunteer run organization that operates on the strength of our dedicated volunteers that have an overwhelming sense of compassion and love for our canine companions. Through our active network of dedicated volunteers and fosters, we are able to make a real difference in the lives of thousands of dogs from shelters in San Diego County and across Southern California.
Why We Exist
At Labs and More we provide a safe haven and necessary care for adoptable dogs and puppies who would otherwise die in shelters or on the streets. We aim to educate the public on the responsibilities of owning a dog and the care required to ensure their healthy and fulfilling lives. Additionally, we strive to give mistreated and neglected animals a second chance to experience human kindness. Our goal is to unite families with dogs, creating a lifelong journey of love and respect.
What Keeps us Going
We want to bring brighter futures to animals left without hope. There are far too many labradors and retrievers, mixed and pure breeds, young and old; and, as we can, other breeds of dogs left behind to die that we rescue. We work to give them hope and a chance at life. We provide a safe foster home, soft bed, comfort and medical care, plus lots of love. We work to rehabilitate those we can, giving them a new chance at life
Every dog deserves a loving home, and you can help make that happen. Whether you’re ready to adopt, donate, or volunteer, your support saves lives and spreads hope. Together, we can create brighter futures for San Diego’s dogs in need.
Together we will save all that we can!
