Meet Azzy! She is around 3 years old and a petite black Lab and possibly Hound mix. She is around 40 lbs with long legs and glossy black fur. Azzy was rescued from a hoarding situation and is a gentle hearted girl. True to her Lab breed, she loves to play with stuffed toys, splash in water and rarely says no to food. She loves to swim and would love a home with a pool – she's a natural! She also loves to play with other dogs and seems to do better when one of her dog buddies is around. She would do best in a home with a confident dog sibling to play with and show her the way. She is learning the kindness of humans and enjoys being pet. She recently moved to a foster home where she now wags her tail when she sees her foster parents and likes pets and attention from them. Right now, fast movements and loud noises startle her and little kids may be a bit too busy for her so would do best in a home with no children under 5 years old. Azzy is looking for a patient and dog experienced family who can work on socializing her with people and other animals. She would do best in a home with her own backyard right now to do her business and her own area to run around and play. Now that she’s gotten comfortable in her foster family’s neighborhood, she enjoys going for 1 to 2 walks a day and walks well with a dog buddy by her side followed by zoomies in the backyard to run around and stretch her legs. Azzy is housetrained with routine visits out into the yard to potty, is crated when her foster family is at work, and sleeps on a dog bed at night.
