Collie - Shepherd

Dion

Meet Dion! She is close to 5 months old and a uniquely colored grey puppy weighing about 18 pounds. We are not quite sure of her breed mix but believe she could have Shepherd and maybe Border Collie in her. She is a happy pup and is always ready to brighten your day with her sweet personality and playful spirit. True to her herding breed mix, she has a lot of energy and loves to play so is looking for a more active family that has been of toys and ways to keep her busy. She loves people and her dog friends. She enjoys going for walks, playing with her ball, and is working on her basic commands. She sleeps soundly through the night in her crate and is making great progress with potty training but needs a family that can let her out every couple of hours. She has been introduced to dog savvy cats and was respectful of their space.

Dion is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes house training, basic training, leash training, and proper socialization. Additionally, this cutie will need appropriate exercise, mental stimulation, and plenty of your attention and love to grow into the best companion she can be. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside. They must be incorporated into your family and made a priority in your life. In return, you’ll gain one of the most loving and loyal family members you could ever ask for.
If you think you’re ready to add Dion to your family, please fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today. We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a specific dog or puppy you’d like to adopt. If you’re already approved to adopt or have adopted from Labs and More before, please connect with your adoption coach for the next steps.

Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is truly appreciated. Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization supported solely by volunteers and funded by donations. The good news is your adoption donation may be tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to adoption, including spay or neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and medical care before they are ready for adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog and provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age. Thank you for rescuing!
