Gabbie is around 2 years old and we believe she is a black Lab and Shepherd mix. True to her Shepherd breed mix, she is a loyal and loving girl that bonds closely to her family and wants to be at your side as much as she can. She is housetrained in her current foster home and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. Alone time during the day is a work in progress. She settles down if crated near her foster dog siblings but is still working on being ok home alone or crated in a separate room when her foster mom is working from home. She's a smart girl and with continued training and a solid routine, we think she will figure it out soon. Gabbie has a playful side in short bursts but she really loves her walks and is happy to go as long and as far as you're wanting to go. She's an athletic girl but also knows how to chill out and loves to snuggle on the couch. She enjoys car rides and going on adventures. She is fostered with two other dogs and did well with them after a pack walk and a slow, patient introduction but she's still learning it's ok to share space and attention from the resident humans with them. She is looking for an experienced dog family that sets up rules and boundaries for her from day one and continues to work on her training to set her up for success. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Gabbie then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps.
