Louis and Gladyce Foster Family Foundation

Foster Family Foundation Grant

We are thrilled to announce that we were selected to receive a substantial Grant to support the lifesaving work of Labs and More Rescue.

Louise & Gladyce Foster Family Foundation’s commitment to helping us ease the financial burden of providing critical support for the thousands of abandoned dogs we rescue each year.

We are incredibly grateful for the belief in our mission and the generous support of the Louise & Gladyce Foster Family Foundation. Their commitment to our future is deeply appreciated.

Labs and More Dog Rescue is San Diego’s fastest growing and most active dog rescue organization. Since our inception, Labs and More Rescue, has been Volunteer-run and is committed to saving dogs from our shelter systems and strays dumped in Southern California.  Labs and More rescues thousands of dogs each year, with over 400 of them needing life-saving medical care.  Over the past decade, we are most proud of our long-term relationships with over 13,500 adopting families.  Previous adopting families and their referrals account for over 50% of our adoptions, a high mark of achievement we are very proud of.

But unfortunately, 2023 has been a difficult time for our Best Friends, our dogs, who have found themselves homeless in record numbers. There was a rush to adopt dogs in 2021, as people were at home and wanted companionship. Now that human is somewhat back to normal, these same companions are dying in shelters in record numbers.

We are a 501(c)3 Non Profit Volunteer Organization and the only way we can continue to help is through the Donations from People Like YOU.  Please Donate Today.
