Amarillo is around 5 years old and arrived pregnant to Labs and More after being rescued from Mexico. We believe she is a mix of Chihuahua and Terrier. She is a nice size around 31 lbs with short fur and long skinny legs. She just finished caring for her puppies and is learning how to be a family dog. She is a timid girl but warms up with time and likes to be pet and loved on. She does okay with other dogs that aren't in her face but would also be just fine as your only dog. She is still getting used to the leash, is working housetraining with access to a yard, and settles well in her crate. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Amarillo when she is ready, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps.

Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing.
