You’ve made a great decision to Adopt a Rescue dog.

Thank you for joining us on this journey to find your new family member! Bringing a new dog into your home is a big deal and you can count on our Volunteers to guide you through this process.

Your Path to Adopting a Labs and More Rescued Dog:

  • Trail 1: Your Adoption Questionnaire is on its way to us. This information will help us partner in this journey to finding your new rescued dog. Within the next 2-3 days we will be communicating to learn about you, your family, and your ideal furry friend!

  • Trail 2: Your personal Adoption Coach will be reaching out to learn more about you and your family, to share what it means to adopt a rescued dog, and to explain what to expect during the adoption process. Please set aside 30 minutes to an hour of uninterrupted time for this phone conversation.

  • Trail 3: Learning more about our available dogs and puppies then requesting to be on a waitlist is one of the most exciting and important parts! Be patient and please be aware that a dog you may be interested in now might not be the right dog for your family, or they may be further along in the adoption process.

  • Trail 4: The time has arrived to meet your furever friend! Your patience has been so appreciated by our volunteers. The foster parent will reach out to you to plan the meet and the more flexible you can be, the faster we can get your meet scheduled.

  • Trail 5: It’s time for the final phase in your journey- the Terms of Adoption agreement and donation to help us continue doing what we love, rescuing dogs like yours! Now you will welcome your new rescued dog into your life with patience, understanding, and tons of love.

The care of our dogs is a top priority so please understand adoption could be delayed due to unforeseen issues. Our volunteers will be open and honest with you regarding all they know about our dogs. We encourage you to ask questions to get to know the dog and please understand that they can act differently in new environments.
