Dorris Jean is a sweet sugar faced, middle aged girl just looking for a second chance with a family to spoil her in her golden years. Her previous family loved her so much but sadly a change in circumstances prevented them from continuing to provide Dorris Jean the attention she deserves. She is 7 to 8 years old and a Lab mix. Dorris Jean is house trained, knows her commands and then some(!), and is crate trained. She knows Sit, Wait, and Stay and commands. She insists on getting a treat when you leave and put her in her crate. This girl has never met someone she didn't like or want attention from. It's an easy stroll when it comes to walking this girl despite her size. We have Dorris on a much needed diet to shed a few pounds and we hope her new family will continue that care. She sleeps quietly through the night and is ready for breakfast first thing in the morning. This girl is just a dream dog! She’s great with easygoing dogs, kids and even cats! If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Dorris Jean, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps.
